My Favourite Items From Our New Kitchen07:30:00
I have been waiting a while to write this up. We started our kitchen renovation in November, doing all the work ourselves between working and everything else. After saving for a few years so that we could have things exactly how we wanted, we have treated ourselves to so many cool kitchen appliances and accessories. I was planning to wait until I had finished the whole room before posting about it, but there is still so much to do! Hopefully I will be able to show you all soon but for now, here are some of my favourite items from our new kitchen;
Brita Marella Jug
I love my Brita Fill & Go water bottle when I am out and about or exercising. There is something so refreshing about drinking freshly filtered water. One of my biggest problems is drinking enough water when at home. The Brita Marella jug filters and stores your water for you and when kept in the fridge keeps it icy cold for you. It comes in lots of beautiful colours too. Mine is Lavender and I love the way it looks. It has a digital display on the lid which tells you when you need to replace the filter inside, which can be replaced by buying sepretately. A 2.4l Marella jug is £22 and available to buy at www.brita.co.uk
Ted Baker Portmeirion
Back before Christmas I was sent a lovely gift from Portmeirion, they make the most beautiful tableware and cookware. They had just released their Ted Baker range and sent me this Ted Baker Portmeirion Shadow Floral Ceramic Mug and Coaster. It is a gorgeous print and one of my most used mugs now as it is such a great size and just looks much prettier than all of my other ones. It costs £21 for the set but comes in a lovely presentation box and would be an ideal gift. There are also different patterns available. I would definitely recommend looking at the whole range as they have so many great products to choose from.
DeLonghi Icona Vintage
Choosing a toaster and kettle was a decision I thought about for months. I had no clue what colour scheme to go for and had planned to wait for my tiling to be done until our toaster broke last week. We headed to Curry's for a browse and I fell in love with these in Azure Blue from the DeLonghi Icona Vintage range. They weren't cheap at £64.99 each but we figured we are better off paying a little extra for the products we love! They also have some pretty cool features compared to the others we saw.
These are one of my favourite buys. Back in November/December I spent a lot of time looking at the lightening deals on Amazon and on Black Friday I picked up these
Orla Kiely Melamine Giant Pear Candyfloss Storage Bowls, Set of 3 for just £26.21. I know that sounds a lot but any Orla Kiely fans will know that her products are pretty expensive and these usually cost around £38. They go so well with my hopes for a vintage style kitchen.
Belling Range Cooker
Now, I have always dreamed of having a nice big range cooker in my kitchen. I was mainly looking at Rangemaster as they are the first brand that comes to mind and I was hoping I could save enough for a Rangemaster (as they are super expensive!). Then I came across this Belling Classic Dual Fuel Range Cooker in cream for half the price of a Rangemaster! It looks perfect in my kitchen and our food has never tasted better. I am so pleased with it and so glad that I shopped around before spending money I couldn't afford on a different one.
*Portmeirion and Brita kindly gifted me the items featured in this post but all views and opinions are my own.
