Week Two Weigh-In22:59:00
It was bad luck that week two fell over Easter and this weeks weigh in was on my birthday! I have to say I haven't done too badly considering! I haven't really eaten much chocolate just a teeny bit of egg which I really did ration and a slice or two of birthday cake. I made a huge roast dinner Easter Sunday and filled my plate with mostly vegetables and had a meal out for my birthday but was careful to choose one of the healthier options. I have even had two very healthy picnics this week with all salad/fruit/veg and no junk at all for all of us which the kids have loved.
I have been very careful with my food intake but tried to make it enjoyable at the same time. I have cut right down on potatoes and bread both of which are guilty pleasures of mine. I have started on the 21 day snack happy challenge with California almonds. Eating a snack pack of almonds every day to see how I feel at the end of it. Almonds are packed with energy boosting nutrients. I really like almonds so should be easy to carry on eating them every day and I will update you on whether or not I feel more energised at the end of the challenge!
I have to say I am quite disappointed to have stayed the same weight this week after all the effort I have put into exercising. It could have been worse I guess but I am still determined and am hoping to have a good loss next week.
Next week I will tell you how I get on with my birthday gift to myself, the Fitbit Charge! and fingers crossed will be excited about my weigh in results!
