Review: Fisher Price Butterfly Dreams 3in1 Projection mobile

Thursday, 30 April 2015

Elsie is already a huge fan of anything Fisher Price and the Butterfly Dreams 3 in 1 projection mobile is no exception. Elsie doesn't sleep in her cot overnight yet as she is quite hard to settle and will be sharing a bedroom with Gracie so we have been waiting for the right time to move her in there without unsettling Gracie when she has school to get up early for. We have however tried to pop her in her cot occasionally to get her used to the surroundings and have popped one of her favourite teddies in there along with this Baby Mobile.

The Butterfly Dreams 3 in 1 projection mobile grows with baby. it starts off as a cot mobile with starry light show projection with 3 soothing audio modes. As baby gets older and no longer needs a cot mobile, it can be used as a tabletop projection soother. It can also be used as a linkable stroller mobile for on the go.

The cute butterfly bears are a lovely touch, the colours are so attractive to babies and the friendly faces can be a comfort to them too. There are three different sound effects you can choose from to soothe baby; lullaby music, white noise or nature sounds. The lullaby music is Elsie's favourite as I think it reminds her of her musical toys downstairs which she plays with surrounded by us each day so I think the sound is a comfort.

What is definitely genius about this cot mobile is the remote control that comes with it. So if you have just managed to settle your baby and sneak out of the room, you don't have to disturb them to restart the sounds. So many times I have tried to pop music back on a mobile (mainly when Gracie was a baby) and had her cry at me when she has spotted me and wanted picking up again. I love how the remote can be hung from a door handle or similar in easy reach from the hallway.

Once again another cleverly designed baby product from Fisher Price and worth every penny. I think the RRP is £39.99 but I have seen it on Amazon recently for near £20 so I would definitely shop around before opting for a cheaper one if you are on a budget.
