Time To Make A Change

I begun the year wanting to lose weight and live a healthier lifestyle. It went well for a few weeks but I had a short period of being really stressed and my anxiety took over and told me I couldn't do it, so I stopped. Of course the moment you give in then you suddenly spiral downwards. 

This week I have been feeling much better and I have seen the difference in my friends who have kept up with their goals and really made a change in their lives and thought I can do it. There is no one stopping me but me and only I can change it. This positive attitude seems to have made me appreciate what I have and what I can do and I can see my life heading exactly where I want it to go. 


I have a few goals for this year; to live healthier and happier and to make our house a proper home. Both of which are perfectly reachable. This past week I have started to change both my eating and exercise habits and by ditching the junk and drinking more water I already feel so much healthier. I am walking a lot more and have purchased my first ever pair of running shoes and next week (when they arrive) I will be going on my first run since I was 17! 

Having had three c-sections I have an unhealthy love/hate relationship with my body. I love the children it created but I hate the mess that has been left behind. I know many won't agree with that but it is how I personally feel and I won't be happy in myself until I can look at myself and like my appearance. I don't expect to look like a model but I have an aim to lose 3 stone. 

I am planning on doing regular updates on how I am getting on and fingers crossed I will reach my goal!
