Review: Persil Washing Up Liquid Warm Spice

Wednesday, 5 February 2014

As a parent of two young children, including one who still has bottles daily, we get through a lot of washing up. After trying many value brands all the ones I tried felt to greasy and I always end up back using the slightly more expensive brands such as Persil as they always leave my dishes clean and shiny

Just before Christmas Persil introduced a new limited edition scent, Warm Spice. They have sent me a bottle to try out and see what I think. Of course I was happy to accept and see if the limited edition version was up to scratch.

One thing I was worried about was whether it would be an overpowering scent as it contains a mixture of cinnamon, cloves and citrus. I found that when in use it doesn't seem as strong as I expected which was great and what is even better was that I could still smell the gorgeous scent whenever I went in the kitchen for the next few hours. I have to say if it is only available for a limited time I hope that it will be available every winter as it has been a lovely change.

Persil washing up liquid retails at just £1.00 for a 500ml bottle and if you're not a fan of the warm spice scent there are four more colourful fragrances to choose from; pink blush, orange crush, lemon burst and apple fizz.
