It's almost party season!

Monday, 14 October 2013

Now it's officially Autumn and I usually love this time of year, but doesn't it seem like Summer just flew by so fast this year? This week I've been heading to work in the dark and feeling the full force of the bitter cold. This year I am far from prepared I don't even have a winter coat! I'm finding all my spare cash, well isn't spare cash at the moment as it is all going on bills or boring house stuff (and not the exciting decorating kind).

I would love to have a bit of money spare to buy myself some nice winter clothes. Some chunky knit sweaters, pretty dresses with woolly tights, a cute pair of boots. My wishlist is huge. One thing I am very excited about is the party season. With christmas coming up everyone seems to be inundated with party invitations and it is the one time of year I tend to indulge myself and treat myself to a few nights out. In fact I already have two lined up! My favourite part of this is the shopping. Not that I know what to wear anymore, I often tend to play it safe with every self concious womans' best friend, good old maxi dresses. I think a maxi dress flatters all body shapes and happen to already have five in my wardrobe. It is also so easy to accessorise with a smart clutch bag, nice dangly earrings and a few bangles, you can't go wrong!

All this talk is getting me excited for what is yet to come. What is your biggest fashion tip? OR lets have a laugh what was your biggest fashion Faux Pas?

Mine was a dress at a friends mums wedding which showed my knickers if I even slightly bent down or tried to sit down. Quite awkward when you barely know anyone and your the girl bareing a bit more than she should be!
